We are a new progressive company with growth ambitions. However, we understand the importance of growing a successful business the right way, and with 80 percent of our new business derived from personal recommendations we are reassured that we are getting it right. That said, we are never complacent and realise that continuous improvement, development of bespoke products and a focus on our clients at all times is the only way to build a successful business.

Managing Director

John has been a General Insurance broker for 35 years. He strongly believes that insurance is still a people business and ensures that JMP always has the customer in mind. John specialises in business cover and High Net Worth property insurance. Since setting up John Morgan Partnership in 2008, the company has continued to grow under his guidance.

As well as running the day to day operations of JMP, John is always looking to develop new opportunities within the local area to compliment his existing business.

Jeremy Tarling

Commercial Insurance Manager

Jeremy, has been with John Morgan Partnership since 2014 and is CertCII qualified. He has a wealth of knowledge in all things insurance with his extensive experience of over 20 years in the industry which he has spent working in both Personal Lines and Commercial sectors. Jeremy specialises in property and landlord cover and also has an expertise in all motor policies.

Away from the office, Jeremy is a family man who shares quality time with his two sons, loves to cycle and unwinds through reading, complimenting his active lifestyle.

Edward Hampshire

Commercial Account Executive

Edward has been at JMP for over three years after spending seven years working for large multinational brokers and is Cert CII qualified. He brings a wealth of experience helping commercial and high net worth clients. Using his previous experience with private client solicitors, Edward created a specialist unoccupied property insurance scheme for executors and deputies.

Outside of work, Edward enjoys walking the dog throughout the Cotswolds with the occasional pub stop, playing rugby, and country pursuits.

Will Morrison

Commercial Account Executive

Will joins JMP from the world’s largest insurance broker with over 10 years experience in the industry. Having gained his grounding in insurance working on Commercial risks, and becoming Cert CII qualified, Will has spent the last few years focussing on large property risks for Social Housing Providers.

When not at work Will is a foodie who both loves to cook and explore Cheltenham’s fantastic restaurant scene, as well as putting his pre-insurance experience in the wine trade to good use pairing the perfect bottle.

Maureen Bantock

Office Manager & Account Handler

Maureen’s insurance career began in 2007, starting out in motor insurance before transitioning to commercial insurance in 2011 where she joined a large multinational brokerage. Maureen started as an Account Handler, progressed to Operations Manager, with a diploma in Management and in recent years has worked in Life Insurance and Protection for a Mortgage Broker. She is skilled at working with data and brings a calm and focused approach to the team.

Outside of work, Maureen enjoys spending time with her young family, holidaying, and ‘DIY-ing’.

Jonny Cahill

Jonny Cahill

Account Handler

Accredited by the Institute of Customer Service and trained in Mental Health First Aid, Jonny’s passion for relationship-building and customer service makes him a perfect fit for JMP, where he maintains and services our book of personal lines policies. Jonny is an expert with niche markets such as Caravan, Military, Marine, and Equine.

Outside of the office, Jonny enjoys history and sports (particularly Cricket, which he plays regularly throughout the summer).

Nicala Carroll

Private Medical Executive

Starting at 14 years old filing on Saturdays at a local brokerage to completing her Law Degree at Aberystwyth Nicala worked in personal lines insurance at a national brokerage. In 2011 she transitioned into commercial insurance.

In 2012 Nicala completed her Diploma in Insurance and has experienced working with different and diverse sectors.

For the past 5 years Nicala has been self-employed providing employee benefits, specialising in private medical insurance and cash plans for individuals, families and businesses.

Outside of work, Nicala is a keen runner, knitter and puzzler and also an active member of Gloucester Quays Rotary Club supporting charities and charitable initiatives locally, nationally and internationally.

The FCA Regulation are an independent, non-governmental body given statutory powers by the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
