Welcome, Jonny Cahill, Insurance Account Handler, our latest addition to the JMP team!
Jonny’s insurance career began in 2019 as an Outbound Retention Advisor, before being promoted to Performance Leader in 2020 and Team Leader in 2021. He has since led teams in both new business and existing business, and has predominantly worked in the Caravan world, however also has a strong knowledge in niche markets such as Military, Marine and Equine.
Jonny is Institute of Customer Service Accredited and Mental Health First Aid trained. He is a people person and loves to get to know and learn more about those from different walks of life and cultures and help them achieve their goals. His love for relationship building coupled with his sociable character means he is the perfect fit for the team and his new role at JMP.
A little more about Jonny…
He is Cheltenham born and raised and grew up in a boarding school as the son of house parents so has always loved meeting new people. He is a passionate champion for mental health, a charity close to his heart being MIND, which he supports whenever he can.
Outside of the office, Jonny enjoys history and sports (particularly Cricket, which he plays regularly throughout the summer). He is also a lover of cats and the great outdoors, trail running as often as he can.
Jonny regularly tests his brain with pub quizzes or cryptic crosswords and is always learning more about subjects that interest him. He continually looks for ways in which he can better himself to best serve the people around him that he cares about.
His role at JMP…
With a fantastic eye for detail and customer service, at JMP, Jonny will be maintaining and servicing our existing book of personal lines insurance policies including household, motor, travel and property owners. This involves expertly advising existing and new potential clients on an insurance solution suited to their needs, application of excellent placing strategy and the management of claims (reporting and liaising with all parties for the best outcome for clients), maintaining our approach to a high level of customer service in everything he comes across.
Jonny is also keen to dip into commercial insurance which we will be supporting as he progresses. His drive will likely lead him to the networking scene where he looks forward to exploring opportunities and building relationships with both existing and new potential clients.
We are thrilled to call Jonny our latest member of the team and are excited to see where his enthusiasm takes him during his next chapter with JMP.
